This design competition is open to artists, landscape architects, architects, urban planners, designers, and students currently enrolled in a university-level program (undergraduate or graduate). An individual, team of individuals, or firm team may register and compete. No individual, however, may be part of multiple teams. All individual competitors must be at least 18 years of age.
Professional – individual or team ($75)
Student – individual or team ($25)

All registration/entry fee payments (payable by credit card only) will be processed through the Urban Lab.

All entrants or teams must register to participate in the competition. To register, visit: http://advancing.colostate.edu/EVENTS/OFFTHERAILS.

During the registration process, each entrant or team will be asked to fill-out an official registration form which requests from the entrant, among other things, the primary contact’s full name and e-mail address, team names, and the field of activity of the entrant’s current profession, business, or degree program.

The entrant or team will further identify if they are a student or professional. Currently enrolled students in undergraduate or graduate programs are eligible to enter. If registering as a student or student team, student status must be verifiable by the institution. Should we find that the entrant or team are not current students, it is understood that the submission is automatically disqualified and non-refundable.

An online entry is ‘received’ when the Urban Lab server records the entry and payment information. Subsequently, a confirmation email will be sent to the primary contact with a unique registration number and a link to access the drawing package. This unique registration number should be used as the only identifier on the submission. There should be no identification marks or branding on the submission. Failure to comply with this requirement will lead to disqualification.

For the purposes of this competition, the submission must follow the technical, creative, and legal requirements disclosed on the competition website and in these Competition Conditions. All entries that are late, illegible, incomplete, or otherwise not in compliance with the Competition Conditions may be disqualified from the competition at the Urban Lab’s sole and absolute discretion.

In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of the entrant who submits an entry, the entry will be deemed submitted by the holder of the e-mail address from which it was sent but only if that individual is otherwise eligible.

Sponsor and affiliated entities are not responsible for lost, misdirected, misplaced, tampered with, deleted or invalid entries.
