Dr. Rodolfo Valdes-Vasquez, a former Fulbright Scholar, comes to CSU from Clemson University in South Carolina where he was an instructor in the Glenn Department of Civil Engineering. He also taught at the Technological University of Panama, covering aspects of construction from estimating and safety to scheduling and methods. His industry experience includes work as a project engineer and safety inspector in Panama.
Rodolfo’s previous research work includes developing a framework to assess and understand the interconnectedness of the often overlooked social considerations of sustainability when making decision regarding infrastructure projects. He is committed to advancing research and teaching in the sustainability of infrastructure projects. Rodolfo believes that educating the next generation of professionals will play a pivotal role in making sustainability a standard practice.
